Join us!Job SummaryAs an Expert Program/Project manager, you will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of projects within the Finance Portfolio. You will oversee all aspects of program/project. You will set deadlines, assign responsibilities, ensures accurate allocation of resources, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and monitor and summarize progress of the program/project. You will build and maintain working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the project. You will guide and coach the project specialists within your project/program. You will actively participate in the deployment of project governance, standards & best practices. You will also prepare reports for upper management regarding status of the project. Strong leadership is essential with the ability simultaneously manage multiple mandates.Main responsibilities· Manage RFI and RFP activities and timeline· Responsible for coordination and completion of large scale and complex project/program· Develop the project plan, which includes the timeline, budget and resource plans· Identify program/project milestones, critical success factors, risks and resource requirements· Ability to manage budgets and align project deliverables to expected business case benefits· Collaborate efficiently with partners, clients and vendors to deliver projects according to plan· Lead project teams using waterfall and/or Hybrid Agile methodology· Ensure all program/project management best practices are applied, following client methodology (Planning, Execution & Control, Closing & Transfer to Core)· Work closely with the Business and Product Owners to optimize waterfall/agile practices within the team· Work closely with the project specialists, analysts, integrators & project manager under the project/program to solve problems and provide guidance· Ensure project transparency with timely and clear progress updates to senior management· Negotiates changes in scope, budget or schedule with sponsor and steering committee, and ensure adherence to change management process· Manage project plan using Microsoft Project Professional Server (PPM)/PWA);· Able to work under pressure, flexible during times of change and reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently, while maintaining business value and respecting project deadlinesRequirementsEducation/Certification/Designation· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent· PMP certification (or equivalent) an asset.· SCRUM or equivalent Agile methodology certification (an asset)Skills/Knowledge· Knowledge of the Finance business and related processes.· Comfortable with implementing leading edge technology· Experience in implementing SaaS solutions· Strong capacity to communicate and enforce corrective and preventive actions· Strong capacity to communicate and lead project/ program planning activities· Well-developed communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with senior leaders· Proactive, organized, bilingual· Expertise on MS Project, MS Excel & Jira or equivalent Agile solutionsExperience· Minimum 7 years of IT project/program management experience· 4 years of experience in transportation industry will be considered an assetAbout CNCN is a world-class transportation leader and trade-enabler.
