Jardeg is recruiting for Reinforcing Ironworker Journeypersons for upcoming work at the Cameco site near Key Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, the world's largest high-grade uranium mine and mill. The schedule for this position is 14 days on, 7 days off. This is a fly-in, fly-out position.The Reinforcing Ironworker Journeyperson is responsible for installing, tying, and securing reinforcing steel (rebar) to support concrete structures at the Cameco uranium mine site.Duties & Responsibilities:Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and rebar placement details. * Cut, bend, tie, and place reinforcing steel bars according to construction drawings and specifications
Secure rebar using hand and power tools, including reel tie guns, pliers, cutters, and benders.
Install reinforcing for footings, slabs, walls, columns, beams, and structural components required for industrial mining infrastructure.
Work in full compliance with Cameco site safety regulations, radiation protection protocols, and provincial mine safety legislation.Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent hazards and ensure a safe working environment. * Perform general labourer duties as needed.Requirements:
Preference will be given to a candidate that has a Ironworker Journeyperson Ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
Non-ticketed Ironworkers must provide proof of hours relevant to the industrial ironworker trade
Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
