Ready to bring your best?Overview of The RoleReporting to the Director, Corporate Development, the candidate will participate in the review and execution of M&A transactions and other strategic projects.How You Will Make Contributions That Matter:
  • Compile and prepare industry, company profile and sector reports;
  • Help screen and analyze investment opportunities;
  • Perform financial analysis and valuation analysis;
  • Participate in the preparation of detailed financial modeling;
  • Participate in the due diligence on opportunities covering financial, commercial, industry and regulatory considerations, as well as coordinating with internal experts on other operational considerations;
  • Help to coordinate various transaction work streams;
  • Help to prepare recommendations for approval;
  • Assist Saputo’s divisions in their strategic review and identify possible acquisition opportunities;
  • Assist other internal departments with various analyses.
You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have the Following Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant finance and accounting roles
  • Experience in M&A advisory and in conducting due diligence is considered an asset;
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
  • CPA, CBV and/or CFA titles are an asset
  • Strong financial analytical skills and the ability to interpret and resolve problems;
  • High degree of accuracy, strong organizational skills, self-motivation and ability to take initiative;
  • Ability to multi-task, manage priorities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure;
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to establish good interpersonal relations;
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Perfectly bilingual (essential);
  • Exceptional academic track record;
  • Flexibility, adaptability and initiative;
