Assistant Sales Lead – Key Account, US

It also means joining a stimulating workplace, full of professional challenges and the possibility to develop and grow.We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Sales Lead to join our Key Account team based out of Montreal, QC. This role is integral to the smooth functioning of our sales operations and maintaining strong relationships with our key account.The ideal candidate will possess meticulous attention to detail, Excel skills, and a strong sense of ownership in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of key account activities. As a key member of the team, the Assistant Sales Lead will play a vital role in driving operational excellence and contributing to the success of our key account partnerships.Your role…Item Setup and Assortment Grid Maintenance:
  • Accurately input and maintain product information, pricing, and specifications in assortment grids and applicable databases.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of data across all platforms and systems.
  • Conduct regular audits to verify data integrity and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Quotes and Cost Updates:
  • Assist in gathering information for creating and updating quotes and costs for products in collaboration with internal teams and key account partners.
  • Coordinate with costing team to obtain updated pricing information and ensure timely updates to pricing databases.
  • Monitor cost changes and flag their impact on profitability and pricing strategies.
Sample/Mockup Creation & Coordination:
  • Coordinate the procurement, creation and delivery of samples and mockups for the key account and for internal use.
  • Ensure samples/mockups meet quality standards and specifications requested by partners.
  • Track sample/mockup inventory and manage distribution to internal teams and partners as needed while providing updates on progress to key stakeholders.
Internal Quotations (QPIs):
  • Support the generation and publication of internal quotations (QPIs).
  • Collaborate with sales and planning teams to gather necessary information and ensure accuracy and completeness of quotations and order requests.
  • Track and follow up on the status of quotations and orders to ensure timely completion and submission.
  • Understand the Key Account calendar and manage the timeline internally.
Assisting with Modulars/Planograms (MPD/POG) Builds:
  • Support the creation and implementation of planograms (POGs) or modulars (MODs) for key account partners.
  • Assist in gathering product information, specifications, and visual assets for merchandising designs.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams as necessary to ensure timely execution and accuracy of merchandising.
Administrative Support:
  • Provide general administrative support to the Key Account team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of sales reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of key account activities, correspondence, and contracts.
What we’re looking for…
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Excellent knowledge of English (oral & written) and interpersonal skills to deal with the foreign divisions and international customers.
  • Previous experience in sales coordination, account management, or related roles, preferably in a key account environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of sales processes, retail operations, and merchandising concepts is a plus.
