  • Must be registered and a member in good standing with the New Brunswick Association of Dietitians and have progressive related work experience (1 to 3 years) in which leadership ability and competency as a Dietitian have been demonstrated.
  • Surgical nutrition counselling experience is considered an asset
  • Ability to attend work on a regular basis
  • Ability to perform the duties of the position

  • May involve travel
**A Resume (C.V.) is required as part of the application**KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe Dietitian is responsible for:
  • Responsible for overseeing, reviewing and evaluating programs and services
  • Planning, directing and evaluating therapy programs and services
  • Liaising with other departments and agencies on behalf of individual patients
  • Developing and/or ensuring compliance with Acts, Regulations, standards, policies and procedures
  • Provide training and mentorship to dietetic interns, clinical dietitians and other staff
  • Assessing, planning, and providing therapy to clients
  • Maintaining and directing clinical records and documentation
  • Serving as a professional practice leader
  • Participating and leading interdisciplinary care planning
  • Facilitating intra-provincial care transfers
  • Preparing and presenting information and education sessions
  • Supervision of professional and support staff
  • Developing and/or ensuring compliance with acts, regulations, standards, policies and procedures
  • Performing duties of a Dietitian
