- Develop accurate 3D BIM models using Revit, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D in collaboration with ACC workshared environment.
- 3D Modeling of Electrical Panels, Power distribution boards, Transformers, Control systems and relay racks, Conduit routing, Cable trays and raceways, Power outlets, lighting fixtures, emergency systems, Grounding systems.
- 2D Drafting of Schematics & Single-Line Diagrams, Cable Routing & Trench Details, Lighting Layouts, Electrical Room Layouts, Annotations & Legends per ICAO/IES Standards with descent knowledge of Sheet Composition.
- Collaborate closely with Electrical Lead and engineers to ensure models adhere to design specifications.
- Produce design-development to Issue-For-Construction schematics, models, drawings, details and schedules.
- Perform interdisciplinary and interface design coordination and clash detection using Navisworks with ACC model coordination interoperability.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date models reflecting the phased construction and turnover of geometrical and non-geometrical asset data.
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical BIM modeling, preferably in Aviation, Highways and Roads, Rail and Transit, Bridges and Tunnels, Ports and Harbours.
- Proficient in software, plugins, and cloud-based platforms including Revit MEP, ElumTools, AGi32, AutoCAD, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Navisworks, Bluebeam Revu, Dynamo for Revit. Experience with MicroStation and Civil 3D is an asset.
- Demonstrated experience in 3D modeling and 2D Drafting of building/roads and airfields electrical systems, power and control systems, lighting and grounding systems.
- Experienced in instrumentation and Metering, Asset Tagging & Performance assessment through IOTs and sensors, and familiarity with Autodesk Tandem and Maximo.
- Familiarity with Canadian Electrical Building codes and infrastructure standards including ICAO Annex 14, IES RP-37, CEC, OESC, CAN/ULC S801, OBC, NBCC. Strong understanding of airfield construction and operations is an asset.
