Your responsibilities will include:o Develop detailed structural designs and calculations for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
o Utilize advanced engineering software to model and analyze structural components, contributing to safe and efficient designs.
o Work closely with architects, project managers, and construction teams to integrate structural solutions seamlessly into overall project plans.
o Review and interpret design drawings, specifications, and site data to provide technical guidance and support effective decision-making.
o Conduct thorough inspections and reviews during construction phases to verify adherence to design specifications and safety protocols.
o Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and necessary permits to ensure regulatory compliance and project accountability.
o Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
o Stay updated on emerging industry trends and incorporate best practices to enhance project outcomes and organizational standards.Skills and Qualificationo A bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is preferred; a master's degree is a plus.
o 3-5 years of experience in structural design and engineering, ideally within the construction or infrastructure sectors.
o Proficiency in structural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit.
o Familiarity with local building codes, standards, and sustainability practices.
o Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset.
o Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
