Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR) is a division of Canada’s largest privately held hospitality company, Northland Properties Corporation (NPC), and since its inception in 2007, we have gained a reputation for big mountain riding, legendary powder and an authentic Canadian resort town.Job SummaryThe Bike Patrol Supervisor is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the day-to-day success of the Patrol Team at Revelstoke Mountain Resort. This full-time seasonal position focuses on daily operations, mountain set up/tear down, team performance, and the delivery of a safe, effective, and professional patrol operation throughout the summer season. Working closely with the other Patrol Supervisor(s) and reporting to the Assistant Patrol Manager, the Patrol Supervisor plays a critical role in shaping patrol standards, supporting team development, and contributing to and implementing safety initiatives across the Revelstoke Mountain Resort. The Patrol Supervisor(s) work with the Assistant Patrol Manager to continually evaluate working conditions, practices, and employee health and safety concerns in all aspects of Revelstoke Mountain Resort Operations.Essential Job Functions
  • Support the strategic planning and execution of day-to-day patrol operations to ensure a safe and successful season.
  • Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, and accountability within the Patrol Team.
Monitor evolving risks, weather, trails, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies. * Assist in the development and delivery of patrol training and staff development programs.
  • Contribute to the resort's safety manuals, emergency procedures, and operational planning.
  • Support interdepartmental collaboration to align patrol efforts with resort-wide goals.
  • Participate in high-level incident response, accident investigation, and post-incident review.
  • Contribute to seasonal hiring, team structure, scheduling, and budget accountability.
  • Recognize risk & be an active risk manager of resort facilities, programs & activities
  • Participation in the ongoing development of the emergency procedure & safety program manuals
  • Delivery of Patrol related staff training
  • Ensuring Patrol Team are following established safety guidelines,
  • Participation in search and rescue activities
  • Guest and staff first aid services
  • Human Resources related functions that may be required
  • Work in conjunction with various departments for various functions.

  • Attends scheduled meetings as necessary
  • Participates in the execution of staff functions
  • Attend seminars & continuing professional development courses
  • Demonstrates ability to positively interact with guests
  • Provides accurate information to guests regarding, lifts, trails, area facilities and services, operating hours, current events, and programs
  • Caters to guest needs, answer questions and handles complaints in an efficient, courteous and helpful manner.
Required Qualifications and Abilities
  • High school graduate
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada - can provide SIN documentation
  • Peak Emergency Training NUEC-A with Advanced Protocols certifications
  • DCTTRS rope rescue certification and experience (provided)
Expert Bike ability * Minimum 3 years patrol experience
  • Helicopter Class D Fixed Line Rescue (CDFL) certified (provided)
  • Instructor Status in all Patrol Competencies preferred
Physical DemandsAble to work in all weather conditions. * Able to work in early morning hours and for extended periods.Able to bike all trails on the mountain.Physically fit, able to carry equipment on trails and uneven terrain.Able to perform search and rescue activities & advanced pt. extractionsMental Demands
  • Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain organized and levelheaded in a variety of emergency situations.
  • Recognizes the cause of risks and is familiar with current industry risk control measures.
Working ConditionsThree 12hr days a week * You are entitled to schedule yourself to report to work within the guidelines. You will not be entitled to claim compensation for overtime worked, unless you are authorized in writing.
