A GMP lab is a laboratory that operates under Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations. These are quality and safety rules used in pharmaceutical, biotech, and other health-related manufacturing environments. This Summer Student – GMP Lab Assistant role is a great opportunity to see how a regulated lab works day to day and to support a team doing meaningful work.Summary of Duties:

Helping with simple lab tasks like labeling tubes, organizing samples, and preparing basic solutions.
Keeping the lab tidy by cleaning benches, equipment surfaces, and common areas.
Assisting with receiving, logging, and storing supplies following our procedures.
Doing light administrative work such as data entry, filing, and updating records.
Checking inventory, restocking supplies, and helping manage lab waste.
Following safety rules, GMP guidelines, and our SOPs.

Qualifications:

You are currently enrolled in a science-related program (e.g., Biology, Chemistry,

Biotechnology, Medical Laboratory Science) and returning to school in the fall.

You are careful, organized, and comfortable doing routine tasks.

You communicate clearly and enjoy working with others.

You are interested in learning how a GMP lab operates.

Any previous lab experience is a bonus but not required.
