This role carries full accountability for revenue growth, market share expansion, and P&L performance, with a mandate to drive disciplined execution in a highly competitive and rapidly evolving legal landscape.The Managing Director will lead the go-to-market transformation, including the successful commercialization and adoption of next-generation LexisNexis AI solutions across Canada. They will build and scale a high-performing, customer-centric sales organization, embedding operational rigor, pipeline discipline, and performance management to accelerate growth.Responsibilities:Own full P&L accountability, delivering sustained revenue growth, profitability, and market leadership across Large Law, Mid Law, and Quebec segmentsDefine and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy, aligning sales, marketing, product, and customer success within a matrixed organizationLead sales excellence initiatives, including pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, territory planning, and performance cadence to drive predictable growthBuild, develop, and retain a high-performing team; establish a culture of accountability, coaching, and continuous improvementDrive business development efforts, expanding strategic relationships with key accounts, influencers, and industry stakeholdersChampion the adoption and usage of LexisNexis AI and core platforms, achieving category leadership in customer engagement and product utilizationIdentify market opportunities and customer needs, informing product strategy and innovation through structured feedback loopsLeverage data and analytics to generate actionable insights, optimize performance, and clearly communicate results to senior leadershipEstablish strong presence and tailored go-to-market strategies within Quebec, ensuring alignment with regional market dynamics, regulatory considerations, and customer expectationsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, JD, or equivalent) considered an asset10+ years of progressive leadership experience in sales, commercial strategy, or general management, with direct P&L responsibilityProven track record of driving revenue growth and leading high-performing sales organizations in complex, matrixed environmentsExperience in legal, professional services, or B2B technology sectors; familiarity with Large Law firms and legal workflows strongly preferredDeep understanding of legal technology trends, including AI-driven solutions and their commercial applicationDemonstrated success in building scalable sales processes, driving pipeline discipline, and improving sales productivityStrong business development acumen with the ability to engage and influence senior client stakeholders and industry leadersData-driven mindset with experience leveraging tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, and other analytics platformsExceptional strategic thinking, communication, and executive presence, with the ability to translate complex strategies into clear, actionable plansExperience operating in or leading within the Quebec market, with an understanding of its unique business environment and customer landscape considered an assetWork in a way that works for you:We promote a healthy work/life balance across the organization.
