What will you do in this job?The Staff Housing Attendant has the essential role of creating a clean and enjoyable environment for our team members. Reporting to the Housing Manager, this requires an individual who is self-motivated, organized, and passionate about creating the best possible experience for our team members living in housing.
  • Complete room inspections after move-outs to ensure cleanliness
  • Complete basic repairs and attend to maintenance requests
  • Conduct deep cleaning tasks and project work such as painting, coordinating furniture moves, troubleshooting appliances
  • Snow removal and lawn care
  • Support the Housing Manager with capital projects and staff housing improvements
  • Assist the housing team with bi-monthly inspections
  • Clean and prepare any rooms that do not meet established standards for move ins
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers
  • Clean public areas as required (such as kitchens and bathrooms)
  • Arrange for monthly common area clear outs
  • Meet and greet new team members as instructed by the housing team
  • Follow all health and safety regulations
  • Other duties as assigned
What skills and experience do you need for this job?
  • At least one year of housekeeping or maintenance experience is preferred
  • A valid Alberta driver’s license
  • Positive, self-motivated, and passionate in creating the best possible team member experience
  • Must have strong English communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
