Starting at $156,400.00/year | Relocation assistance availableAs Director of Municipal Works, you'll lead a highly visible portfolio that directly impacts residents' daily lives. You'll focus on delivering reliable infrastructure services while strengthening customer care, communication, and collaboration across the organization.Working closely with senior leaders, you'll align infrastructure priorities with corporate and economic development objectives, navigate regulatory and budget pressures, and connect strategy to execution-guiding teams through complexity and helping the organization communicate its work clearly and confidently to the public.We're a team that believes how we work is just as important as the work we do. - Lead our Municipal Works department with a strong customer‑first mindset, ensuring infrastructure services are delivered with care, responsiveness, and a clear focus on resident experience.
- Champion transparent, proactive communication, helping residents and stakeholders understand what the City is doing and why-especially during construction, disruption, or change.
- Elevate interdepartmental collaboration, partnering across the organization to enable shared success and stronger, more integrated service delivery.
- Align infrastructure planning and delivery with the City's economic development goals, supporting industry attraction and long‑term community prosperity.
- Oversee complex, high‑impact infrastructure portfolios with a focus on safety, asset stewardship, and accountability, while balancing fiscal responsibility and public trust.
- Advance the City's commitment to open data and transparency, strengthening public confidence through clear, accessible, and timely information.

- Successful completion of a bachelor's degree in engineering, science or related field from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Ten (10) years of directly related experience including five (5) years in a senior management capacity.
- An equivalent combination of management approved education and experience may be considered.
