You can be relied upon to deliver, and when necessary, you don’t hesitate to go above and beyond to help the team.What will you do?Below are some of the primary responsibilities you will be taking on in this role:
  • Complete monthly, quarterly, and yearly preparation & reporting of property financials including balance sheet, income statement, capital expenditures and leasing costs, annual operating cost recoveries, accounts receivable and bad debts/provisions
  • Prepare monthly property-level financial analysis for the property managers
  • Prepare revenue analysis and review for respective portfolio
  • Complete recovery ratio analysis and provide commentary
  • Participate in monthly operational/financial review meetings
  • Review, analyze and process property budgets
What type of experience do I have?These are some of the things we would like you to bring to the table:
  • Undergraduate degree or college diploma in Accounting
  • At least 3+ years’ direct property accounting experience in Commercial Property Management and lease commercial property accounting
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to deliver against tight deadlines
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Strong people skills with ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization
It is considered an asset if you have experience in the following areas:
  • Experience with Canadian portfolios
  • CPA designation or in progress or completing
  • Experience working in MRI
