
GE Appliances Field Sales Representative

- Manage day-to-day client liaison at a retail level
- Foster strong relationships with retailers
- Provide coaching to Sales Representatives
- Train Retailer Staff
- Conduct pre-scheduled training sessions weekly
- Provide Sales Assists at locations weekly
- Gather market analysis and report market trends of how the product is perceived in the market
- Plan and facilitate training and launch meetings to ensure all client/retailer groups can demonstrate product knowledge and have necessary product knowledge and training
- Ensure stock levels of merchandise meet product demand and report back
- Support Marketing initiatives by maintaining direct contact with sales points in the market
- Resolve issues that affect brand integrity and brand presence
- Provide feedback to Regional Field Manager and client
- Support Go to Market planning and promotional activities in the field
- Set up promotional materials and support dealers via incentive events and programs
- Provide strategic input to help leverage the client brand.
- Merchandising execution
- Training facilitation at trade show events as needed
- Fluent in English both written and verbal
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Recent college/university graduate with a related field of studies is an asset
- Sales experience in home appliances is an asset
- Demonstrated experience in working within the Home Appliance sector
- Previous formal training experience (instructor or trainer)
- Previous durable good or high-value retail Sales experience
- Outbound sales representative experience
- Experience as Field Sales Representative
- Prior success in training and motivating a sales team in meeting or exceed performance objectives
- Available to travel within the market. (Must love being on the road)
