Takes guests’ orders for food and drinks over the counter, in a quick serve style outlet and ensures accuracy.
Handles payments through the company’s point of sale equipment adhering to the company policies.
Handles packaging of all take-out orders.
Maintains a high level or customer service in the food and beverage areas.
Maintains current knowledge of products, events and promotions and general information relating to the Food and Beverage department, general gaming floor and property.
Constantly monitors the cleanliness and aesthetics of the cafe/ dining areas and takes action where required, including assisting patrons with menu items.
Works collaboratively with team members to maintain the cleanliness of café/dining areas.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Require
1 year experience in a food and beverage and or customer service position
Cash handling experience using POS system or cashier register
Smart Serve Certificate
Fast food or quick serve experience is an asset
The ability to obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario
Proven high level of Customer Service
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent customer service skills including ability to be friendly, polite and patient
Ability to deal with demanding clientele in a professional manner
Ability to multi-task, organize workload and work under pressure
Ability to handle money and POS systems
