You will be responsible for operating the assigned unit and for performing a variety of jobs as directed by the client.This is a 362 Teamsters Union Position, field rate starting at $31.69/hourWhy work for Clean Harbors?

Responsibilities:

Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
Attends daily safety meeting and ensures all tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner;
Assist with swamping and staging of units;
Perform basic labour tasks using hand tools, but also operate power equipment (non-driver)
Performs pre and post trip inspections alongside operator;
Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Class 5 Driver's License required.
Experience working in the oilsands an asset
High pressure experience would be an asset
Comfortable working in confined spaces
Able to work both day and night shift
Valid First Aid, H2S Alive and CSO certificates (will be required to provide proof prior to first day). Training can be arranged.
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment.
Ability to work in all weather conditions for extended period.
