Working closely with our Applications Engineer, team of software developers and subject matter experts, you will deliver specialized engineering software to a diverse group of international customers. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing telemetry data and treatment plant data to build digital representations of plant processes and components. Fundamentally you want to use your talents and energy to better the world for others and contribute to the responsible management of global water and energy, and CO2 reduction.What you bring to the team· Working towards a degree or diploma in a technical field such as chemical, process, or environmental engineering, environmental technology or equivalent· Demonstrated ability to learn and apply engineering concepts quickly· Demonstrated ability to learn new software quickly· Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills· Analytical and process-oriented mindset· Eager to be an integral part of a fast-paced team· Competent with MS Office Suite, especially Excel· Basic understanding of programming principles.Responsibilities· Review and interpret P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and datasheet of equipment (pumps, blowers, sensors, etc.)· Understand the design and control of water treatment plants and processes and apply this knowledge to onboard new treatment plants into the Pani Platform· Work with applications engineer to understand treatment facilities, and their pain points and identify Pani software features that can be deployed to the customer· Use Pani’s toolbox to configure software features at specific water treatment plants· Participate in QA/QC processes during Customer Onboarding· Work with the engineering and software development teams to develop and improve internal onboarding tools to make the onboarding process more efficientNice to Have· Experience in the water industry, ideally in water/wastewater treatment, or experience with membrane processes.· You know Python· Experience working for a SaaS startup· Experience analyzing time-series data from telemetry systemsDoes this role sound like the next step in your career?Then we want to hear from you!
