- The successful candidate will be part of the Equities technology team building solutions for the business.
- The organization is undertaking a complete revamp of the platform, in order to support business expansion plans, to close the gap to competition and doing so we are building a new Equities Risk Platform (Ariane)
- The Ariane project is embarking on a multi-year journey to modernize the Equity Derivatives IT platform from pre-trade, post trade and risk management.
- The team is focused on creating Portfolio Risk Management (PRISM) application which supports real-time and overnight risk results consumption and visualization using technologies such as Apache Flink, KDB, C# (UI) and Kotlin (server side).
- You will work as a senior developer using Kotlin as the primary language and be responsible for the design and implementation of new core functionality.
- You would be an extremely experienced hands-on software engineer who has a strong emphasis on test driven development (TDD) practices. PRISM is made up of several components and integrates with many mature systems, you will be a core contributor within the team, ensuring the highest quality output is delivered to our clients.
- Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
- Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint.
- The team is a strong believer in leveraging the best solutions from the Open Source, cloud native platforms and modern DevOps practices and you will contribute to our continued adoption within this space.
- We operate in an agile engineering function and strive to deliver continuously to Production using modern CI/CD practices.
A senior data engineer with demonstrable experience of equity derivatives risk management solutions that have dealt with storing/processing/querying risk and P&L results at a global scale adhering to tight SLAs using distributed technologies that have been designed from the ground up to be scalable and highly fault tolerant.A strong foundation in writing clean, well-tested and easy to support systems for collecting, storing and analyzing data at scale and in real-time.The technology stack consists of:
