Job Description:Robert Half is looking to hire a full time / permanent IT Specialist for a client that is rapidly expanding in the West GTA region. This is an exciting full time opportunity offering growth and development.Please take a look at the summarized information below and apply if you are a good fit!Ideal profile will be an individual that has succeeded at a senior help desk role and ready to take a career path towards a Systems Administrator role within the organization.Role: IT SpecialistType: Full time / PermanentLocation: West GTACompensation: $75 to $80k + 3 Weeks Vacation + Strong Benefits + Work Equipment provided + Hybrid work environmentRequirements + Responsibilities:- Strong communication skills, personality and team player- 5+ years experience working in a Help Desk role; currently in a Senior or Lead Help Desk role- L1 / L2/ L3 support; able to handle a wide range of tasks (Systems, Networks and security)- Office 365 support- Active Directory; Azure AD- InTune- Email support; exchange - adding and removing; groups- Managing tickets and escalating when appropriate; ensure help desk members can focus on projects- Network (Basics)Requirements:Responsibilities:
  • Provide end-to-end support for systems, networks, and security, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Manage and resolve technical issues across all levels (L1, L2, and L3), escalating complex cases as needed.
  • Oversee the administration of Office 365, Active Directory, and Azure Active Directory, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Utilize Intune to manage devices and maintain security protocols.
  • Coordinate help desk operations, prioritizing and delegating tickets to enable team members to focus on strategic projects.
  • Perform basic network troubleshooting to identify and resolve connectivity issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Support the integration and usage of cloud technologies to enhance system scalability and performance.
