In this critical role, you will architect and implement cloud-based FPGA acceleration solutions that enhance the performance of AI-powered design tools. As part of the Vivado R&D organization, you will leverage your extensive expertise—especially your experience with InAccel frameworks—to build scalable, high-performance cloud infrastructure that accelerates FPGA design and simulation workloads in a fast-paced, innovative environment.The Person :You are a collaborative and results-driven professional who thrives in high-energy, fast-paced environments. You communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams and are comfortable working in cross-functional, geographically distributed groups. You bring a proactive mindset—anticipating challenges and driving solutions independently while keeping stakeholders aligned.Key Responsibilities :
  • Design and implement cloud-native FPGA development and acceleration environments.
  • Architect scalable, resilient infrastructure to support FPGA design and simulation workloads.
  • Integrate FPGA acceleration capabilities with GitHub Copilot Extensions and MCP tools.
  • Develop automated deployment, scaling, and orchestration strategies for FPGA acceleration services.
  • Collaborate closely with cloud architects and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless platform integration.
  • Optimize FPGA applications for maximum performance and cost-efficiency in cloud environments.
  • Lead performance benchmarking and tuning initiatives to continuously improve cloud FPGA acceleration.
  • Mentor and guide team members on best practices in cloud FPGA acceleration and deployment.
  • Stay current with emerging FPGA acceleration frameworks and cloud-native technologies to inform strategic direction.
Preferred Skills and Experience :
  • Deep expertise with FPGA acceleration frameworks, especially InAccel.
  • Strong background in high-performance computing (HPC) architectures and distributed computing.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native FPGA deployment.
  • Proven track record of optimizing FPGA applications for cloud-based environments.
  • Experience with FPGA-as-a-Service (FaaS) architectures and cloud orchestration solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of FPGA design methodologies and EDA tool development.
