Summary Of The Role:
  • Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities – interviewing scheduling, working with new graduates, working on projects. Admin work like offer letters
  • How much time is being spent in meetings – 10%

  • Will the contractor have access to any customer data? NO!!!
Summary and Day to day responsibilities :
  • You are responsible for managing all aspects of Early Talent acquisition for your respective business.
  • These responsibilities include creating and delivering presentations on and off-campus, building and maintaining a pipeline of suitable candidates across various geographies – through all stages of the recruiting pipeline, managing social media deliverables, planning, managing and executing events and large-scale conferences, assessing candidates via interview and screening, managing the referral process internally, leveraging HR technologies, candidate tracking and management (including data collection).
  • This position will focus on proactively attracting, identifying and selecting top talent from campuses across Canada in support of your respective business line.
  • The position will partner with Program Managers, University Relations and the other Early Talent Recruiters to build talent pipelines based on current and anticipated talent needs.
  • Working with the team to create and execute a consistent campus recruiting and branding strategy across our business lines will be crucial to your success in the role.
Must-Have Hard Skills:
  • 3+ years of work experience in talent attraction, having exhibited a high degree of performance
  • Strong understanding of HR Management Practices
  • Strong computer skills, with an ability to utilize our internal applicant tracking system
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in Talent Acquisition / Campus Recruitment
  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in fast paced environments with tight deadlines
  • Some project management skills or experience
  • Positive attitude and good communication with stakeholders
Soft Skills:
  • Ability to be effective in both a team and independent working environment
  • Critical thinking with an ability to see the “big picture” in a complex matrixed environment
  • Intellectual curiosity and the desire to learn and make an impact
  • Problem solving and analytical capability
  • Adaptable with the ability to quickly adjust to a changing environment
Nice-To-Have
  • HR designation
  • Ability to effectively sell and market positions within the Bank Group
  • Experience in the Financial Industry is an asset
  • Experience with Workday
