Provide strategic partnership and advice, business enablement and project leadership to FCC’s Executive Vice-President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. You’ll also support the Corporate Secretariat in strategic preparation for and delivery of Board of Directors and Committee meetings.What you’ll do:
- Handle critical or high-priority incoming items as a key point of contact for the EVP
- Track and monitor scorecards and goals for the Law & Corporate Secretary division
- Analyze and critique requests, approvals and reports on behalf of the EVP and the divisional leadership team
- Identify solutions and give recommendations for a variety of issues
- Co-ordinate team meetings and prepare agendas and minutes for the division
- Act as a liaison and communicate with other divisions, including the CEO’s Office and external stakeholders
- Oversee the Law & Corporate Secretary’s budget, ensuring it’s in good standing
- Contribute to developing and executing the division's annual plan, conducting research and analysis to inform strategic decision-making
- Manage the EVP office

- A bachelor’s degree, preferably in business administration, and at least seven years of progressive experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Experience working on or managing a legal and corporate secretary team is an asset
- Bilingualism (English and French) is a strong asset.
