About Our ClientOur client, a very well known Home Healthcare business is looking for a P/T General & Payroll Accountant to provide support in a variety of areas, including AR & AP invoicing, tax preparation, system and process implementation, as well as payroll processing.The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, self-motivated and reliable. The ability to take direction and then work independently along with efficient time management is a definite asset, the responsibilities of the role includes:Responsibilities
  • Organization: Organize financial records and maintain orderly accounting files.
  • Invoicing: Prepare and send out invoices to customers in a timely manner.
  • Invoice Tracking: Monitor and track invoices, ensuring timely payments and following up on overdue accounts.
  • Payroll: Processing payroll for around 50 employees across CAnada
  • General Support: Provide answers to general accounting and bookkeeping questions as needed.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of full cycle accounting
  • Must have a very strong understanding of AR invoicing
  • Must be proficient in QuickBooks
  • Experinece prociessing payroll across Canada is ncie to have
  • Confident and comfortable working individually
  • Self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with various clients and customers
