We are a global organization focused on working together with a team spirit.Pourquoi Bombardier?In your role, you willYou will be responsible for specific development programs to ensure readiness of the supply chain and work in close collaboration with the strategic Procurement teams, Programs and Engineering.
You will act as the subject matter expert with regards to new programs within Procurement and act as the link between the product development teams, the business units and the suppliers.
  • Be responsible for a team of procurement agents.
  • Be responsible for all procurement related activities for specific commodities of the various product development phases, including R&T projects.
  • Act as a project manager to ensure all procurement related activities are executed as per plan.
  • Represent Procurement within the various integrated product development teams.
  • Track changes through the management process up to the point of implementation
  • Be responsible for contractual negotiations, resulting from product changes, with external suppliers.
  • Ensure that correct project tracking and visibility are provided by the suppliers for Procurement and other business unit functions.
  • Support, where applicable, the Procurement commodity teams in establishing sourcing strategies for the development programs and draft commercial agreements with the suppliers.
  • Plan, track, analyze & monitor the Balanced Scorecard and Key Performance Indicators of the team
  • Oversee major projects with the team to reduce costs.
  • Coach & support staff in all aspects of their activities, provide direction and promote engagement.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy relationship with suppliers and internal customers to meet business objectives.
As our ideal candidate
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent
  • You have five (10) to ten (15) years of experience in the aerospace industry
  • You have experience in negotiations with suppliers
  • You have experience on development programs is an asset
  • You have technical knowledge or experience would be an asset
  • You have analytical skills
  • You have good communication skills (French & English)
