This includes make-readies, operating the Cutter and keeping the area orderly. We are hiring for steady afternoon shift.What you will be doing:

Maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with all safety policies.
Obtain and understand production docket according to the bindery schedule.
Place jogged skid into cutter.
Locate a standing program or create a new one.
Set up DC die if applicable.
Place slabs on the table.
Clamp and cut lift as per customer specifications.
Comply to all SOP's and Quality Procedures.
Place cut product on conveyor/table.
Pull finished product from shrink wrappers.
Input all costing information into Radius.
Change Knife if needed.
Comply to all SOP's and Quality Procedures.
General maintenance and housekeeping department.
Perform all related duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed:

High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum one year working in a manufacturing environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to stand and walk 100% of shift on a concrete floor and ability to lift 40 pounds.
Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
Must be able to maintain good attendance.
Must be able to work a steady shift either days, afternoons or night shift.
