
Receptionist

- Welcoming clients/visitors to Hatch;
- Ensuring visitors sign in as per specific office policy;
- Issuing visitor security badges;
- Answering the phone cheerfully and professionally;
- Prioritizing: ensuring that reception desk and queued calls are covered;
- Ordering cabs and hotel shuttles;
- Receiving deliveries and notifying responsible person;
- Redirecting deliveries to Mail Room when required;
- Be flexible to cover other reception locations when required;
- Assisting PSCs and Health and Safety with project work if required;
- Ordering lunches and ensuring catering supplies are available;
- Booking meeting rooms and/or confirming bookings;
- Set up and clean up of boardrooms after meetings, if required;
- Coding of Invoices
- Keyboarding: minimum 50 words/minute.
- Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Well organized and good interpersonal skills.
- Detail oriented who takes pride in their work.
- Can prioritize tasks, adapt to change and work well under pressure.
- Intermediate level in the following applications:
- Outlook
- Word
- Excel
- PowerPoint
- Internet Explorer
- Adobe Acrobat
- Competency with office tools (i.e. copiers, scanners, fax machines, telephone systems).
- Adaptable to changes, able to multi-task, organize, and prioritize.
- Is detail oriented.
- Needs little direction and able to work under minimal supervision.
- Has a strong work ethic.
- Is punctual.
- Has a pleasant and professional demeanor.
- Bilingual, English and French.
