- Lead and support month-end close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and consolidation support.
- Prepare schedules and documentation for annual audit and compliance reporting (SOX).
- Assist with external financial reporting under both IFRS and US GAAP.
- Develop and review supporting schedules for management reporting and ad-hoc analysis requests.
- Mentor and review work of junior accounting staff.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant reporting in a tight-deadline environment.
- CPA designation (or actively pursuing) - designation preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience within a publicly traded or large consolidated reporting environment.
- Direct exposure to IFRS and US GAAP reporting standards.
- Solid understanding of audit preparation and compliance frameworks.
- Experience in a Big Six public accounting firm's public company audit group or in a publicly traded company's reporting team is highly valued.
- Strong Excel and financial systems proficiency.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and mentor junior team members.
