Job Description:Our client is a leading not-for-profit organization driving recycling innovation across British Columbia and is currently looking to grow. Are you energized by logistics, operations, and building strong partnerships across the recycling and supply-chain ecosystem? This is a great opportunity to contribute to one of BC's most impactful environmental stewardship programs. They are looking for a Commodity Marketing Specialist to support the movement of recyclable materials from facilities to approved end markets-ensuring efficient, transparent, and reliable material flow across the province.Main duties:

Coordinate daily allocation and transportation of recyclable commodities from RFs/MRFs to end-market partners
Build strong relationships with end markets and brokers
Monitor contamination trends and material quality
Troubleshoot logistics issues with internal teams and external partners
Maintain accurate chain-of-custody and operational reporting
Track domestic and international market trends
Support process improvements, data dashboards, and post-collection projects (including GHG initiatives)

Requirements:Key skills:

Post-secondary education in environmental studies, engineering, logistics, business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years' experience in logistics, operations, supply chain, or environmental programs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Experience with CRM/TMS systems is an asset
Comfortable working with technical issues, inspections, or client-facing operational challenges
