I'm seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Housekeeper to support in maintaining a clean and comfortable home environment. The ideal candidate will have prior hands-on experience in providing high-quality support in home care settings. Demonstrated skill in cleaning, organizing, and assisting individuals with mobility and mental health challenges would be a decisive advantage. The role requires strong attention to detail across all housekeeping tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, rubbish removal, and ensuring all surfaces in the kitchen and bathroom are squeaky clean. You will also assist in laundry, including washing, drying, folding and putting away clothes. Your tasks will extend to the kitchen, where you will perform duties such as fridge and oven cleaning, both inside and out along with general maintenance. Your kindness and understanding will be put to good use in providing me assistance in online grocery orders and meal prepping, which involves tasks such as peeling and cutting vegetables, as well as supporting client-led cooking. In addition, applicants should also be comfortable in making beds, changing linens, and organizing seasonal clothing. Exceptional communication skills, patience, respectfulness, and the ability to adapt to specific care routines are vital to this role. Your ability to observe and report any changes in my condition will be highly valued. This is a part-time position for less than 20 hours a week, with the schedule being Monday through Friday, during mornings and the middle of the day.
