This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and developing team as an Interior Designer working across a range of project including multi-family, mixed-use, commercial, retail and hospitality. With a focus on sustainable developments and innovative designs, this role will require a talented and dynamic nterior Designer. This firm are well established and are continuing to grow within Western Canada. With a focus in design, planning and architecture, they have built a solid team and a sound reputation.THE JOB
The Interior Designer will be assisting the senior designers and Principal Architects in the development of interior focused projects.
This role will have you collaborating with a dynamic team and working with clients through the various project phases from concept creation, design, and production, right through to project completion.WHAT'S REQUIRED
This candidate will have the following aspects;
- Completion of a certified Architecture or Interior Design program in a professionally recognized institution
- 5+ years' experience working with interiors projects in Canada
- Experience working on multi-family residential, senior living, commercial, retail and hospitality projects is preferred
- Willingness to source and identify contractors and product specialists for quality interior finishes
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and assemble drawing packages for the above-noted construction types, from Design concept, BP, Tender, and to IFC.
- Familiarity with municipal approvals processes;
- Capable using both Revit and AutoCAD is preferred
- Proficiency with Sketch-Up, Photoshop and other programs are an asset
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
