Graymont is currently seeking 2 summer students for our Havelock, NB, Plant. This is a great opportunity to work and learn in the lime mining industry. Graymont offers competitive pay in a safe and collaborative work environment.Under the supervision of the production supervisor, you will have assigned tasks using the tools and machines made available to you and respecting the highest standards in terms of health and safety and the environment.The successful candidate must be comfortable in an industrial / mining / manufacturing environment and comfortable with heavy industrial equipment and processes. The student must be proactive and motivated and with a bias for action and results.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform general work, such as cleaning, sweeping, painting, bagging, sampling, etc.Actively participate in developing improvements.Responsible for the good order of workplaces.Be able to be trained for day laborer.Ensure that the highest standards are met in terms of safety, environment, quality and efficiency.QUALIFICATIONS :Enrolled in studies for the fall 2026 session.Able to work shifts in rotation of 8 hour or 12 hour shifts (day / evening / night);Ability to work standing for several hours outdoors in different weather conditions.Ability to communicate efficiently with other team members and possess good organizational and decision-making skills.Meticulous and able to work independently and safely.
