Our Network Delivery Consultant role is a post-sales opportunity that ideally sees you call on your talent and technical expertise in the enterprise network space to implement solutions for our customers.This role is suitable for those with enterprise networking expertise in a wide range of environments. The ideal candidate will also have general data center experience and will be able to work in other areas not directly related to networking.What you'll do· Perform remote and on-site work deploying network solutions for various customers· Assist Solution Architects in creating customer Statements of Work and work breakdowns· Conducts reviews and analysis of network performance and remediate, as required· Create documents such as network diagrams and as built documentation· Provide knowledge transfer and informal training to customers and internal team members· As part of project delivery, oversee equipment RMAs and warranty returns, as required· During project delivery, work closely with internal project managers to promptly identify new requirements, out of scope items and project delivery issues· Document and update technical procedures, administrative processes and delivery documentation, as required.· Log time, attend team and one on one meetings and participate in annual goal settingRequired Skills· Good knowledge of Cisco networking systems.· Consultant or customer facing experience in a technical role· Hold certification(s) with one or more enterprise networking vendor (Cisco is preferred)· 5+ years of experience in the following areaso Networking fundamentals and advanced troubleshootingo Infrastructure support including a focus on customer service and technical assistance· Experience with network virtualization and wide-area networking.· Experience with wireless site surveys and wireless infrastructure· Implementation experience configuring routers and switches (Cisco, Aruba, Dell etc.)· Hands on experience with industry leading firewall products (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco)· Experience with authentication such as 802.1x, MAC authentication and profiling· Experience with network monitoring tools (Syslog, SNMP, Network analyzers)· Exceptional troubleshooting and analytics skills· Professional demeanor, good communication, strong organizational and time management skills· The ability to occasionally work outside of business hoursPreferred Skills· Knowledge with networking in Public Cloud· Experience with Network management such as Nagios, Cacti, Solarwinds· Experience with SD-WAN technologies (Viptella, CloudGenix, Fortinet)· Experience with SASE concepts and architecture· Scripting, API and automation experienceShare this job:Similar JobsInterview ProcessInterested in joining the team?Discover tips to help prepare you for your job search and what to expect from CDW.Interview ProcessInterested in joining the team?Discover tips to help prepare you for your job search and what to expect from CDW.Experience #LifeAtCDW.CDW Canada Corp., and its subsidiaries, is an equal opportunity employer and maintains a policy of non-discrimination towards all employees and applicants for employment in all aspects of employment.
