- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
- Prepare journal entries, financial schedules, and account reconciliations
- Analyze revenue, cost of sales, operating expenses, and capital expenditures with detailed variance analysis
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare monthly inventory valuation for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
- Partner with plant operations to support inventory controls, costing accuracy, and operational reporting
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within finance and operations
- Prepare cash and banking reconciliations and reporting
- Maintain lease schedules and ensure accurate accounting treatment
- Assist with ad hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects as required
- CPA designated (or actively pursuing)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong experience in manufacturing and multi-entity environments is highly preferred
- Experience with ERP systems (Navision an asset) and advanced Excel skills
- Solid understanding of financial reporting, inventory accounting, and internal controls
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with operations and finance teams
- Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain financial information clearly
