OVERVIEW OF THE ROLEMariner is actively recruiting Java / Oracle Service Bus Developers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for client-based projects and, in collaboration with our delivery and sales teams, you will deliver solutions to new and existing customers.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE
  • Responsible for the development, design, implementation, and support of application and integration solutions.
  • Design, develop, debug, and document Java- and Oracle Service Bus-based components and services.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement application systems and integration solutions.
  • Perform code reviews of other developers’ components and services.
  • Identify issues and risks.
  • Develop business knowledge and customer relationships where appropriate.
  • Provide technical documentation with an increasing focus on functional documentation.
WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU’LL NEED TO DO THE JOB
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with Java and Oracle Service Bus (OSB).
  • Experience with web services.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Experience in the Telecommunications industry is considered an asset.
