Location: Toronto, OntarioSalary Range: 49 CAD/hr. on T4 & 53 CAD/hr. on Inc.IntroductionWe are seeking a highly skilled Technical Development Lead to oversee the migration of a legacy trading system to the Murex platform within the Corporate Treasury line of business. This is a critical role that requires strong technical leadership, deep understanding of trading systems, and experience in large-scale platform migrations in a banking environment.Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience with Murex platform (v3.x preferred), including configuration, workflows, and integration.
- Solid understanding of legacy trading systems and migration strategies.
- Proficiency in Java, C , or Python, and scripting for automation.
- Knowledge of SQL, Oracle, and data migration tools.
- Deep understanding of Corporate Treasury products (FX, Money Market, Interest Rate Derivatives).
- Proven experience leading technical teams in large-scale system migrations.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in financial technology roles, with at least 3 years on Murex.
- Exposure to regulatory compliance and audit requirements in banking.
- Prior work experience in the client's Industry.
- Experience with DevOps tools.
- Experience with cloud platforms.
- Lead the end-to-end technical migration from the legacy trading system to Murex.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to define migration strategy and roadmap.
- Ensure data integrity, system performance, and compliance throughout the migration process.
- Oversee development, configuration, and integration of Murex modules for Corporate Treasury products (FX, MM, IR derivatives, etc.).
- Manage technical risks, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices for system stability and scalability.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
- Coordinate with infrastructure and security teams to ensure adherence to enterprise standards.
