- Prospect and cold call new accounts regularly
- Participate in competitive sales opportunities and close deals
- Maintain strong customer relationships and resolve issues effectively
- Keep customer profiles and contact information current
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, quotes, orders, and expenses
- Travel regularly within the assigned territory to meet clients and assess opportunities
- Monitor industry trends and upcoming auctions to identify equipment for sale or consignment
- 5+ years of sales experience (or equivalent)
- Professional and positive attitude toward internal and external challenges
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Understanding of transportation equipment and industry dynamics
- Valid Class 5 driver's license (Class 1 is an asset)
- Ability to travel internationally with a valid passport
