You will be involved in a range of engineering activities, contributing to both daily production and ongoing improvement initiatives.This position requires strong collaboration with operations, geology, and contractors to ensure safe, efficient, and practical execution of mine plans.Key Responsibilities-Develop short-term mine plans covering production, lateral development, ventilation, and paste fill-Support drill and blast design and identify opportunities for improvement-Work closely with operations, geology, and contractors to develop practical and achievable mining plans-Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly production schedules-Assist with engineering projects, including dewatering and design updates-Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and performance-Provide guidance and support to EITs and junior team members-Communicate regularly with site teams to ensure alignment between plans and operational needsQualifications & Experience-Degree in Mining Engineering-P.Eng. designation or eligibility to obtain registration in Canada-5-10 years of underground mining experience-Experience with Deswik, Excel, or similar mine planning tools-Underground Common Core certification is an asset-Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams-Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities-Comfortable working independently while remaining aligned with team objectivesCompensation and Benefits-Competitive salary ranging from CAD $90,000 to $135,000 per year-Opportunity to work in a dynamic underground mining environment-Career advancement within a well-established mining operation-Exposure to both operational and technical aspects of mine engineeringEligibility-Must meet employment eligibility requirements in Canada-Employment is subject to pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening, and site safety requirementsHow to Apply-Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume for confidential consideration-Only candidates selected for next steps will be contactedVacancy Status-This posting is for an existing vacancyAI Disclosure-We do not use artificial intelligence to screen or select applicants
