As part of our essential team, you will be responsible for identifying strategic suppliers and managing relationships, ensuring the quality and continuity of our supplies. This position will allow you to help shape the future of Soucy by leading innovative initiatives and playing a crucial role in the growth and success of our company.In this position, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Prepare and modify purchase orders according to the master plan.
  • Analyze stock item requirements, analyze inventories, and place necessary orders.
  • Receive, analyze, and process purchase requisitions.
  • Update ERP data: prices, lead times, minimum lots, qualified suppliers.
  • Track deliveries, follow up with suppliers, and update confirmations in the system
  • Resolve issues: delivery errors, shortages, missing parts
  • Communicate with planning to avoid any impact on production
  • Manage receiving slips and invoices, and correct discrepancies
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities
  • Monitor supplier performance and correct discrepancies
  • Collaborate with the quality team and suppliers to manage procurement-related non-conformities
  • Continuously improve department methods and processes
