- Handle various aspects of securities law matters, including transactional work related to public offerings, private placements, and securities regulatory compliance.
- Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide advice on securities law matters to clients.
- Assist in the preparation of offering documents, prospectuses, and other transactional documents.
- Work collaboratively with other legal professionals and clients to facilitate successful transactions.
- Stay updated with changes in securities regulations and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
- Experience within Capital Markets and top tier public companies.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active license to practice law in British Columbia and in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia.
- Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in transactional securities law.
- Familiarity with Canadian securities regulations and laws.
- Prior experience working in a top tier firm.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
