Human Resources (HR) plays an integral role in Medavie's mission to improve the wellbeing of Canadians. The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) team is comprising of dedicated HR professionals who provide hands on support while being strategic partners and trusted advisors to all levels of management across assigned client groups. Through building trusting advisor relationships, the HRBP understands and translates business needs into HR solutions in areas like organizational design, role definition and evaluation, talent development and compensation strategies, employee engagement, retention, and Labor relations. HRBP are supporting Leaders in creating the desire organizational culture, coaching them on talent development and differentiation.You are the right candidate if:

- Leaders will seek to your advice on HR challenges related to behavior, performance and attendance management, talent differentiation and retention, collective agreement, legislation, and policy interpretation.
- You will provide consulting support to business partners by developing a solid understanding of all HR programs, policies, practices and collective agreement.
- An undergraduate degree in Labor relations, Human Resources Management or related field.
- 7 years' experience in a human resources generalist role in a corporate environment including 3 to 5 years' experience dealing with a union.
- A Certified Professional Human Resources (CPHR) designation
- To be bilingual (English and French) to meet the needs of our internal customers located in different regions,
- Experience with Workday would be considered an asset.
