- Develop and lead a regional marketing plan for Vancouver and Kelowna aligned with business goals and market opportunities.
- Work with Managing Principals to identify and deliver on priorities.
- Serve as the primary marketing representative in regional leadership discussions.
- Collaborate with the national marketing team to ensure alignment on messaging, content, standards, and shared initiatives.
- Lead, coach, and support the BC marketing team, clarifying roles and expectations.
- Establish and manage regional marketing operations including proposal workflows, business development support, marketing materials, content management, resume updates, and OpenAsset upkeep.
- Oversee all pursuits within BC to ensure high-quality, timely submissions.
- Contribute to strategic pursuits and RFP responses, helping to identify win themes, and providing team review.
- Improve processes, templates, standards, and workflows for improved efficiency.
- Develop clear prioritization frameworks to help manage the team’s workload.
- Identify conventions, calls for papers, opportunities to publish technical articles and contribute to news articles.
- Track and analyze proposal win rates, including reasons for wins/losses and trends to guide improvements on proposal strategies, content quality, and pursuit decisions.
- Conduct client and market research and develop business development strategies and targeted plans that optimize win rates and achieve team revenue growth.
- Maintain and develop relationships with potential RJC clients and project partners.
- Support leads with BD priorities including client introductions, presentations, pitches, events, and outreach.
- Coordinate regional events, sponsorships, conferences, and client engagement activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- 8–10+ years of progressive marketing experience in the AEC or professional services industry.
- 3–5+ years of experience leading or managing a marketing team (regional leadership experience is an asset).
- Strong leadership capability with experience defining roles, setting expectations, and guiding team members.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into client-focused messaging.
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple deadlines and priorities across regional offices.
- Strong understanding of marketing best practices, BD support, and pursuit strategy in the AEC industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Adobe InDesign, CRM systems, and OpenAsset considered assets.
- Ability to influence, collaborate, and build trust with technical and operational leaders.
- Strategic thinker who can also execute hands-on work when required.
