- Act as a trusted advisor, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization. Seek out opportunities to influence discipline and operational leaders, offering guidance and support in implementing quality practices.
- Identify opportunities to collaborate with connected business disciplines and operations to strengthen quality culture and further our ambition to becoming a Top Quartile performance organization.
- Partner with other disciplines such as project delivery, finance, HSE and client services, to integrate quality management practices across all functions.
- Work closely with the Project Delivery function (e.g. PMO) to enhance understanding and in partnership with PMO and operations, conduct investigations into trends and findings from themed and project audits and recommend solutions for improvement.
- Lead enterprise and regional quality initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive improvements and achieve quality objectives, promoting a culture of quality excellence and accountability.
- Lead and coordinate local effort to assist the maintenance of GHD's ISO 9001 certification.
- Present reports on Quality performance and continual improvement at the regional level.
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.), Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), or equivalent
- Quality Assurance qualification and knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems requirements.
- 10 years of experience in a consulting, engineering or project management environment with proven experience in stakeholder management and improving performance.
- Bilingualism in French and English (spoken and written) *.
- Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, monitoring, and reporting on QMS initiatives including undertaking quality reviews and audits.
- Working knowledge of project control procedures, SOPs, and regulations.
- Proven relationship building, coaching, networking, and negotiation skills with an ability to influence.
- Experience in change management with a record of effectively managing the implementation and adherence of procedures.
- Experience in developing and delivery of internal reporting, insights, analyzing and monitoring tools.
- High level analytical skills, sound judgement and decisiveness in problem solving.
- Travel within Canada, as required (approximately 5-10% of the time)
