We are looking for a Operations Specialist to join our Operations team at Lake Utopia Paper based in St. George, New Brunswick.Who We Are:Our team operates within highly technical, fast paced, competitive businesses and is part of an integrated forest products value chain under J.D. Ensure the Pulp Mill operates efficiently and meets all regulatory requirements. Includes chip handling/screening, digester, refining, and chemical prep areas
Monitor processes and work methods; ensuring outcomes meet the daily management targets
Identifying and implementing department needs in terms of standards, training, lockout processes, and improvement opportunities
Participate in and/or lead area initiatives and projects
Work with and coordinate maintenance and projects
Safety and environmental awareness
Will be willing to support the development of an engaged workforce with a focus on continuous improvement
You Have:
Bachelor’s Degree or 2 year completed diploma in a related field
Experience in Pulp and Paper Industry considered an asset
Proven track record in performance and results
Familiar with computerized operations and administrative systems such as DCS
