Whether you are just starting your career, re-entering the workforce, or looking for a new job, this is where you belong.As a Specialist, Retention & Engagement for the PC Optimum Digital team, you will play a key role in executing lifecycle marketing strategies that keep our member base active, loyal, and engaged across our digital ecosystem.With one of the largest loyalty programs in Canada, this role is focused on understanding our members and delivering relevant, personalized communications that drive meaningful engagement. You will support the development and execution of our base marketing strategy, with a strong emphasis on managing communications across channels and optimizing the member experience through targeted, data-driven campaigns.Working closely with cross-functional partners across the Loblaw enterprise, you will help bring our lifecycle and engagement strategies to life through best-in-class CRM execution.What You’ll DoLifecycle (CRM) Strategy & CommunicationsSupport the development and execution of lifecycle marketing strategies across key member momentsOwn the day-to-day management of communications across digital channels (email, push notifications, SMS), ensuring messaging is relevant, timely, and personalizedTranslate business objectives into clear, compelling member-facing messaging and journeysSupport always-on and triggered marketing programs that drive repeat engagement and retentionCampaign Planning & ExecutionExecute end-to-end CRM campaigns, including briefing, creative reviews, and QAManage campaign calendars and coordinate across stakeholders to ensure timely deliveryPartner with creative and brand teams to develop and refine messaging and assetsSupport testing strategies (A/B, multivariate) to continuously optimize performancePersonalization & TargetingApply segmentation and targeting strategies to deliver more relevant member experiencesSupport the execution of personalized campaigns and offers, leveraging insights and past performanceIdentify opportunities to enhance communications through better use of data and automationReporting & InsightsMonitor campaign performance and track against key KPIs (engagement, conversion, retention)Analyze results and provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve future campaignsPartner with Analytics teams to better understand member behavior and inform strategyCross-Functional Collaboration & InnovationCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to execute campaignsContribute ideas to improve lifecycle journeys, messaging strategies, and overall member experienceStay up to date on CRM and lifecycle marketing best practices to support ongoing innovationWhat You’ll Bring2–4+ years of experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, or digital marketing (B2C preferred)Strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing, segmentation, and personalizationHands-on experience executing multi-channel campaigns (email, push, SMS, etc.)Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign performance and generate insightsStrong attention to detail and project management skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsBilingual English/French is an assetOur commitment to Sustainability and Social Impact is an essential part of the way we do business, and we focus our attention on areas where we can have the greatest impact.
