- Perform a full range of records activities in various phases of document life cycle management. Maintain follow-up controls for record management as per established records procedures and records retention schedule.
- Perform detailed information and literature searches and retrievals, compile bibliographies and carry out research. Order publications and process loan requests and process payments for same if necessary. Maintain a network of external suppliers for publications and documents.
- Assist in the testing and implementation of document management databases, web pages, applications and all related tools and systems. Prepare and review procedures, cataloguing and classifying manuals.
- Provide editorial assistance in the preparation of technical publications, reports and manuals.
- Perform quality checks and carry out audits of all records, verifying integrity and security of documents. Maintain Active and Archival Records. And perform a variety of administrative and clerical functions.
- Clerical support to answer queries from employees, supervisors and pensioners, external libraries and the public.
- Operate and be responsible for the routine maintenance of a variety of business office equipment such as personal computers, microfilm processor camera and card duplicating equipment.
- Accountable for the health, safety and wellbeing of self and others, in accordance with technical/operating procedures and standards.
- A minimum of a High School Diploma plus additional courses in administration or clerical.
- 5 + years of experience in Office Administration or Executive Administration
