We are currently searching for an energetic, motivated Forklift Driver to join our Team!POSITION SUMMARY:Drives an electric-powered counter balance fork truck in a safe manner to place, retrieve, and move products, equipment, or materials in warehouse, racking and production areas. Ensures packaging area is appropriately supplied with materials, and product removed from
packaging lines in a timely manner to maintain continuous production flow without interruption.RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
  • Must be safety certified on operation of counter balance fork truck in a manufacturing environment
  • Supply materials to packaging, and removes product from packaging lines in a safe, timely and efficient manner
  • Manages movement of pallets of materials and product to keep packaging and staging areas clear and organized at all times
  • Adhere to all health and safety requirements as required by the facility.
  • May perform or assist with duties of other handlers as required to cover absences and vacations.
  • Ensures counter balance is checked for safe operation before start of shift; escalates any safety issues to supervisor immediately
  • Must be reliable with attention to detail in completing tasks with a sense of urgency
  • Should have counter balance experience in a continuous manufacturing environment
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Maintain good housekeeping of equipment and production areas
  • Must consistently follow instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, and accurately complete forms and other paperwork in compliance with requirements
  • Must be able to work morning or afternoon shift as assigned; normally 6 days per week, and work extra hours as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
