We are working with our Civil General Contractor client to assist in mobilizing a large project near Kamloops/Southern Interior BC. We require a Junior Project Manager, experienced and knowledgeable in civil construction to join our client on this exciting project for a minimum of 6 months contract role.*See our other ads for more open positions on this project*RequirementsCollege or technical school degree in engineering, construction management, or EIT preferred.3-5 years of experience working with a contractor company is preferred.Supports senior managers by overseeing project tasks, timelines, budgets, and communication with vendors and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, while adhering to safety protocolsAssist in developing project plans, coordinating tasks, managing work schedules, and allocating resources.Track project spending, monitor project timelines, and report on progress, often preparing weekly or monthly status reports.Ensure safety protocols and regulations are followed on-site, and conduct inspections to monitor project progress and quality.Maintain project records, manage necessary documentation, and ensure that all required safety inspections are completed.Manage relationships with vendors and subcontractors, track their performance, and coordinate their activities.Strong communication skills and work ethicProficient in MS Office Suite, industry related softwaresAbility to work on-site for scheduled rotation, immediate availability is preferred.If this role matches your experience and you are ready to get involved, we'd like to hear from you.
