  • 4.5 days of work per week, year-round. (Friday pm off);

Job DescriptionWhat your weeks are going to look like:
  • Analyze memory and performance issues throughout the project;
  • Create efficient shaders and materials to texture characters, environments, and visual effects;
  • Optimize and automate graphic processes and production pipelines to improve real-time performance; and team efficiency;
  • Create and maintain scripts and tools used by artists in the Unreal game engine or 3D software;
  • Collaborate closely with programmers to develop new game features;
  • Work proactively with leads and directors to find solutions to efficiency challenges;
  • Continuously explore new approaches to improve game quality.
QualificationsWhat we're looking for :
  • Bachelor’s degree in arts, computer science, 3D, or equivalent;
  • Approximately five (5) years of experience in the video game industry;
  • Advanced knowledge of game constraints and performance management (memory, GPU, CPU);
  • Experience with the Unreal game engine;
  • Proficiency with Houdini and Blender;
  • Knowledge of at least one of the following scripting languages: Python, C++, MEL, and/or HLSL;
  • Available to travel internationally when required;
  • English proficiency is required, as we collaborate with English-speaking partners.
