- Oversee the daily operations of the Resource Centre to ensure it is organized, welcoming, and accessible to participants.
- Maintain and update information and materials related to community resources, employment supports, and other relevant services.
- Ensure that resource materials and information remain current and relevant to participant needs.
- Provide general administrative support related to the functioning of the Resource Centre.
- Assist clients in identifying and accessing appropriate community resources and supports.
- Provide guidance to participants on navigating available community services.
- Support participants in connecting with external service providers when additional supports are required.
- Work collaboratively with the internal program team to identify participant needs and appropriate resources.
- Share information on community services and resource updates with team members.
- Contribute to a coordinated approach to supporting participant success.
- Strong administrative and customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster positive relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, enabling effective interaction with diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of available community resources and supports
- Ideally, previous experience in vocational assessments or employment services, demonstrating a commitment to supporting individuals in overcoming barriers to employment.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to support individuals in navigating complex systems.
