Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Seasonal Material Handler to join our dynamic team in Edmonton, AB, Canada. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient movement and organization of materials within our warehouse facility during our peak season.

Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, store, and retrieve materials
Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets accurately and safely
Perform inventory counts and update inventory management systems
Organize and maintain a clean and safe work environment
Assist in preparing orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines
Follow all safety procedures and report any potential hazards or incidents
Participate in regular team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred
Valid forklift certification (preferred)
Proficiency in operating material handling equipment
Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly
Excellent time management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed
Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
